　　As far as I'm concerned, riding bicycles is a good solution. For one thing, bicycles don't need any petrol and they are energy-saving. For another, bicycles are environmentally friendly because they won't give off waste gas.

　　What's more, riding bicycles is a good way for us to exercise and it is good for our health. Therefore, let's take the responsibility to build up a lowcarbon city by riding bicycles.

　　My name is Fang Shuo. My topic is: I’m the spokesman of Jining.

　　Jining is the birthplace of Confucius, Mencius, Yan Hui, Zeng Shen and Zisi， With the Great Canal passing by; it’s called the Holy Land in the East, and the kingdom of manners.

　　You could find the trace of the saint in the Confucius Temple, Confucian Family Residence and Confucian Cemetery. You could enjoy the peculiar rocks on the Yishan Mountian, the beautiful scenes in Quanlin of Sishui, the lotus flowers in the Weishan Lake, and the stories of the 108 heroes on the Liangshan Hill.

　　A Place to Sleep 睡觉的地方

　　By the time John pulled into the little town, every hotel room was taken. "You've got to have a room somewhere." he pleaded. "Or just a bed--I don't care where."

　　"Well, I do have a double room with one occupant," admitted the manager," and he might be glad to split the cost. But to tell you the truth, he snores so loudly that people in adjoining rooms have complained in the past. I'm not sure it'd be worth it to you."

　　"No problem," the tired traveler assured him. "I'll take it."

　　The next morning, John came down to breakfast bright-eyed and bushy-tailed. When asked about how he slept, he replied, "Never better."

　　The manager was impressed. "No problem with the other guy snoring, then?"

　　"Nope. I shut him up in no time."

　　"How'd you manage that?"

　　"He was already in bed, snoring away, when I came in the room," John said. "I went over, gave him a kiss on the cheek, said, 'Goodnight, beautiful.' With that he sat up all night watching me."
